Eligibility Criteria: Interested individuals must have successfully cleared the 10+2 Examination or an equivalent qualification from recognized education boards, with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Age Restriction: Applicants must be between the ages of 16 and a half to 19 and a half, meaning they should be born between 02 July 2004 and 01 July 2007 (inclusive of both dates).

Physical Requirements: Candidates must meet the following physical standards: minimum height of 152 cm, weight of 42 kg, visual acuity of 6/6 in the better eye, and 6/18 in the worst eye.

Commission Type: Upon successful completion of the four-year course, cadets will be granted a Permanent Commission in the Army at the rank of Lieutenant in Arms/Services, as determined by the Army Headquarters.

Stipend: During the training period of three years, gentlemen cadets will receive a stipend of ₹56100/- per month, similar to what NDA cadets are entitled to. Once the four years of training are completed, they will be commissioned as Lieutenants and receive appropriate remuneration based on their rank.

Pay Scale: Candidates who complete the four-year course will be entitled to a salary according to Level-10 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC), ranging from ₹56100-177500, along with an MSP (Military Service Pay) of ₹15500/- and other allowances.

Selection Procedure

To be considered for the 50th 10+2 Technical Entry, candidates are required to have appeared in JEE (Mains) 2023. Following this, only shortlisted candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and the specified cut-off will proceed to the next stage, which involves undergoing the SSB (Services Selection Board) process at one of the Selection Centres: Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Bengaluru (Karnataka), or Kapurthala (Punjab). The SSB process will be conducted by a team comprising a Psychologist, Group Testing Officer, and Interviewing Officer, starting from April 2022 onwards.
